The Department of Biomechatronic Engineering offers an interdisciplinary curriculum focused on developing agricultural robotics systems, plant factories, and aquatic biology studies. The Department of Food Science equips students with skills in food engineering, quality control, and analysis, also integrating courses on health foods, emerging technologies, and bioresources to meet industry demands of the new century. The Department of Biotechnology and Animal Science provides courses in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, health, animal breeding, ecology, animal behavior, and business operations. The Department of Forestry and Natural Resources provides curriculum focused on explore the researches at the fields of diverse forest ecosystems and sustainably utilize the plants, animal, soil and water resources within them. The Horticultural Science curriculum blends crop cultivation, landscape design, and product processing with smart agriculture and biotechnology, fostering industry-ready professionals. Master Program of UAV Application and Precision Agriculture offers specialized courses designed to equip students with advanced skills in unmanned and automated field management.
With Jiaoxi Experimental Forest, Wujie Experimental Ranchette, Chengnan Farm, and Nanao Farm, and three Research Centers, the goal of College of Bioresources is to render the students characters of self-educating, independent thinking, solid dependability, creative research and theory practicing abilities based on the emphases of human culture and team cooperation capacities.
