College of Engineering

The College of Engineering comprises five departments, each dedicated to fostering innovation, sustainability, and interdisciplinary learning. With a strong emphasis on addressing global challenges, the college integrates cutting-edge research, practical applications, and industry collaborations to prepare students for dynamic careers in engineering and technology. Accredited programs and specialized institutes ensure graduates are equipped with the skills to drive progress and sustainable development.

The college includes the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, focusing on polymer related materials, biochemical engineering, pollution prevention, process design and control; the Department of Civil Engineering, specializing in structural, geotechnical, construction management, and water resource engineering (IEET-accredited); the Department of Environmental Engineering, offering expertise in pollution prevention, environmental monitoring, and renewable energy technologies (IEET-accredited); the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering, providing IEET-accredited programs in smart machine design, thermal and energy systems, and mechatronics; and the Graduate Institute of Architecture and Sustainable Planning, which focuses on sustainable architecture, space design, landscape, and urban studies.
