College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

The College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) consists of three departments, three graduate institutes, two in-service master's programs, and one AI master’s program. With a mission centered on intelligent technology, interdisciplinary learning, and integration of theory and practice, the college is dedicated to achieving excellence in education and research, striving toward the advancement of smart electrical engineering, precision electronics, and cloud computing.

The Department of Electrical Engineering focuses on three core research areas: Power Electronics, Control Engineering, and Communications. The Department of Electronic Engineering specializes in three core research areas: Smart IoT, Semiconductor and IC Design, and Signal Processing and Communication. The Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering excels in three core research areas: Intelligent Multimedia, Multimedia Networking, and Information Security. Master Program of Artificial Intelligence not only encompasses all three departments’ specialties but also focuses on: Enhancing AI system development skills, cultivating talents for researching and developing new AI technologies, and fostering innovative problem-solvers.
